Working With Ideas

Create an idea. Make it real.

You need an idea.

We all want to leave our mark on the world. But it doesn’t happen by itself.

Whether it’s a new business, a gift for your spouse, or a spiritual cause, we all have something or someone we want to impact. We have dreams of going out on our own or want to show a family member how much we love them. Or maybe we just want to plan an awesome date for Friday night. In every scenario, our choice starts with an idea.

But what if you struggle to come up with good ideas? What happens when you want to do something big and your mind goes blank?

This doesn’t have to be the constant result. You can take steps to find ideas. There are ways to develop your abilities in creativity and form an idea when you need it. That’s why I built Working With Ideas – to take you through the process of creating an idea and making it a reality.

How it works

How does the course work and what comes with it?

Working With Ideas is a series of 16 videos and articles coupled with an extensive set of resources designed to take you through the process of coming up with ideas and putting them in place. It’s not enough to get an idea; you need to do something with it.

You can walk through these modules at your own pace. There is no set schedule. You can go through the entire course in about four to five days, but to get the full impact and incorporate each piece, it will likely take two weeks or better.

Included with these modules is a community of fellow idea workers. You are given free access for life when you sign up for the course. This is a great place to share your ideas and get feedback to take your idea to the next level.

No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.

Don’t over complicate it

When I started my business, I wish someone had walked me through the steps of developing an idea.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by possibilities and the busyness of our culture today. The options are endless. You’d think this would make it easier to find your own, unique thought but it does the opposite. It complicates our thinking and often leads us to inaction.

Let’s keep it simple and focused. By building in time and systems, we develop a framework of living that frees us to find ideas unique to us.

Hello, I’m Joe

I wish I had time for all my ideas.

I am Joe Buhlig and I’ve had the pleasure of marrying my best friend, Becky. We have two girls (a third baby due in December!) that love learning and asking questions.

I have worked in environments that have forced me to create and develop new concepts on a schedule and fast. From crop fields to corporate to solopreneur, it’s been quite a ride. It’s that journey and those experiences that have helped me develop and hone this process of finding and executing new concepts.
